Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Good food, price is slightly high fot the taste but ok for occasional meals or snacks. Great helpful staff, Vanilla Hot Latte with oat milk was good. Empanadas were good. Place has a nice vibe to stop and have a snack and coffee or drink. Kinda sad this place replaced long time rrsturaunt The Little Onion but this place is good and will try sandwiches next time. Parking is ok mid day lunchtime during week.

My partner and I visited OBRA HandBakery for brunch after our marathon and this was a solid choice. It's quite the small shop with seating on the counter and 3 tables on their outside patio area. Parking - Free in a shared large parking lot, plentiful We were both intrigued by their potato balls, empanadas, and breakfast burrito in which we ordered 4 potato balls (2 chicken/2 beef), 2 empanadas (1 chicken, 1 beef), and 1 breakfast burrito to share. Our order came out in about 10 minutes or so, not too busy. Total came out to about $42 which is quite expensive for the amount of items in my opinion. 1. Potato Balls - By far my favorite menu items from the visit, they weren't as crispy/crunchy as Portos but they're bigger. Portions are big and it's filled with your choice of filling, very delicious, highly recommend 9/10 2. Empanadas - Usually I love empanadas but these were a bit disappointing on my end. They were softer than empanadas that I usually have, although delicious still but definitely not my favorite from the bakery. 6.5/10 3. Breakfast Burrito - Talk about portions, this breakfast burrito is loaded with ingredients, eggs among many other ingredients, super flavorful

Five stars for the beef and cheese potato balls, double the size and creamy Yukon style potatoes (maybe yucca) π€€ everything else was ok, not my favorite spot for empanadas because they were stuffed with potatoes making it too carb-heavy for me. Nearly $100 for a dozen diy empanadas, four beef a potato balls with cheese, and four chicken potato balls. Photo of receipt and menu included for pricing info. Should drop a star because website was buggy and refreshed several times so my online ordering experience was sub par. By the time I finally got the manual selections (after three reloaded pages) the sampler sold out. Then I manually entered selections for the dozen and checked outβ¦ noticed the checkbox for baked goods did not stick. I called the shop but the staff said there was nothing they could do even though I offered to pay the $3 baking fee in cash. Should drop another star for that and shared photos of the self baked outcome π Many people compare to Portoβs but they are different styles and a major delta in pricing so donβt fall for the hype, come ready to enjoy a delicious treat that is βsuper sizedβ for double the cost. Note it was 4th of July so they closed at 3pm. Wh

I donβt know how I have never been to this place before! The empanadas were so flavorful, the chicken curry one was my favorite. I really enjoyed the guava almond cake, although I do with it had a little more guava paste. And not pictured here were the chocolate chip cookies. I had to go back just for the chocolate chip cookies thatβs how good they are! They are a very decent size, and the perfect texture of soft inside but not raw, and the flavor and chocolate chip ratio is perfect! Highly recommend.

Having eaten here a few times, I would say that the quality is consistent and the flavors don't seem to disappoint. If you are a first timer and not sure what to order, get the empanadas. My favorites are Chicken Curry & BBQ Pork. Yes, they are on the pricier side compared to Portos and may not be economical if you are buying for a large party but the quality in my opinion is better. Wish they had spicier options for salsas. My favorite item is their beef potato balls. Reasonably priced, flavorful and huge. As for the pastries and sweet stuff, my favorite item is their cocadas which is a coconut macaroon dipped in dark chocolate. Moist, flavorful, with the perfect amount of sweetness balanced by notes of orange and dark chocolate. They are the size of my palm almost. I also got to try their Dulce de Leche cookies. Personally I prefer the Portos version since it has more Dulce de Leche which i like. Their iced coffee is pretty alright. I wouldn't drive there just for the coffee. I like the friendly service and the ladies at the front meet you with a smile. Overall great π
